ABSTRACT

Sling surgery has been the gold standart treatment of stress urinary incontinence. Nevertheless, the ‘zero tolerance’ concept has led to searching for a new technique which would be minimally invasive as well as complication free. Hence, third generation slings, namely minislings have been developed. A general overview has been carried out to the minislings in the light of current literature.
