Mechanical support of the posterior fornix relieved urgency and suburethral tenderness

Supporting the posterior vaginal fornix with a speculum blade relieved urgency and suburethral tenderness, the latter consistent with the hypothesis of referred pain from lax uterosacral ligaments.
